Co-Owners, Nancy Miller and Sandy Ballou, are also sisters and have always wanted to go into business together. Nancy has worked in the legal community since 1995 and Sandy has worked in the accounting community since 2005. They have combined their respective skills to bring you an outsourcing company where your legal, accounting, word processing and data entry needs can be met.
Sandy is a graduate of Rhode Island College with majors in English and Psychology. She has been working in Westerly for the past seven years with Stephen C. Poplaski in the areas of accounting and bookkeeping. She is also a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor and a Registered Paraplanner. Sandy has experience in the fields of business and personal bookkeeping and accounting. She has worked as an Independent Contractor since 2010 and has managed a book of business on her own. She is now joining forces with her sister in their business venture Professional Outsourcing LLC.
Sandy lives in Bradford with her husband of 7 years and their young daughter and son. She enjoys working out and spending time with her family.
Nancy is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies. She has been a part of the legal community for 20 years. Nancy has experience in the fields of personal injury law, elder law planning, estate planning and estate administration. She has worked in Providence, Rhode Island at the law firms of Gallagher and Gallagher and McAdams and Wieck with her primary focus being personal injury law. She also was a paralegal at the law firm of O’Brien, Shafner, Stuart, Kelly and Morris in Old Lyme, Connecticut for a ten year period with an emphasis on estate planning and elder law planning. Most recently, prior to opening Professional Outsourcing LLC, Nancy was an Estate and Trust Administrative Assistant at Essex Savings Bank in Essex, Connecticut for a 6 year period of time. Her primary responsibility being estate administration and account maintenance of the resulting trusts.
Nancy is a native of Westerly, but currently resides in Waterford, Connecticut with her husband of 10 years and their young daughter. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
